The roots of Seelenbinder Consulting Engineers cc date back to 1968, when the consultancy was established as a Windhoek branch of CA Rigby & Partners of South Africa, being solely active in the field of civil and structural engineering.
Striving to provide a high standard of expertise in the fields of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and associated engineering services, including project management, the consultancy started operating as an independent multidisciplinary consulting office in 1980, under the name of Henning Seelenbinder and Partners.
In 1997 the partnership converted to a close corporation under the name of Seelenbinder Consulting Engineers cc (SCE).
Completely owned by its Namibian members, Urs Böhlke, Ronald Geiger, Elton Heyman, Herbert Lerch and Henning Redecker, SCE is independent of control from outside the borders of Namibia. SCE has a highly qualified staff compliment, most of who are registered as professional individuals with the Engineering Council of Namibia. SCE furthermore is a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Namibia and as such is committed to a professional code of conduct.
Based on extensive experience gained since 1968, SCE has a vast knowledge of the economical, sociological, environmental, climatic and geological conditions in Namibia. This experience combined with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the local construction industry, provides SCE with the capacity required for the application of appropriate technologies to ensure state of the art, economical and sustainable solutions for our clients.
